'Servant of the Revolution' July 2009

I am currently in rehearsal for a new play premiering at The Mechanics Institute in Brunswick. I play the title role of Helene Demuth, also known as 'Lenchen', the loyal servant of Karl Marx. 'The Servant of the Revolution' is written by Anitra Nelson, directed by Brenda Addie and runs from 21st July to 1st August.

'Short and Sweet' December 2008

I performed in two plays for the 2008 festival. In 'Love and Light' directed by Traicee Evison-Griffiths, I played a psychic medium attempting to re-unite a rather difficult couple. 'Genre Bender', written and directed by Jessica Muscamp, was a play about making a film, entirely nuts from beginning to end!

'An Unhappy Medium' December 2008

'A Unhappy Medium' directed by Larelle Bossi and performed as part of the Play 6 Festival at Williamstown Little Theatre in December 2008

'Clickety Tock' June 2008

'Clickety Tock' was created and directed by Alex Desebrock.

'Camberwell House' April 2008

'Camberwell House' is a beautiful piece of character writing by Amelia Roper. I had the pleasure of performing it's premiere at Monash University for Dog's Breakfast in 2008. Another challenging solo piece, this time, about a 75 year old woman who faces far graver challenges than coming to terms with cellulite! When I can work out how to load DVD's... take a look.

'I AM' December 2007

'I AM' was my first performance in a very long time! A solo piece about a woman 'of an age' coming to terms with her body and self and finding peace between the two. 'I AM' was written by Mary-Anne Butler, directed by Larelle Bossi and performed as part of the Short and Sweet Festival at The Arts Centre in 2007. I received both the People's Choice award and the judges award for Best Actress runner up. I thouroughly enjoyed this piece and was very greatful for such a challenging return to acting as well as the generous acknowledgement I received.
